SJCC Book Club: Polarized by Dr. Roberta Kwall

March 2, 2027 • 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for the SJCC Book Club, a space for thoughtful reading, meaningful discussion, and connections across our SJCC community.

Our March book club pick is “Polarized: Why American Jews Are Divided and What to Do About It” by Dr. Roberta Kwall.

Kwall examines political, religious, generational, and cultural divisions within the American Jewish community, including how those divisions intensified after October 7 and the Israel–Hamas war. Drawing on law, sociology, psychology, history, and Jewish tradition, she proposes a stronger communal center that can sustain disagreement without fragmentation.

Attend Dr. Kwall’s author talk at the J on April 1.
