The Basics

Week-long camps, Monday-Friday
Dates: Tuesday, June 21, through Friday, August 26, 2022 (no camp June 20 for Juneteenth or July 4 for Independence Day)
Ages: Pre-k through 10th grade in fall 2022 (children must be at least 4, or turning 4 in the month they attend)
Time: Camp runs from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm; Monday – Friday. For drop-off & pick-up times, see our FAQs
Location: All camps located at the Stroum JCC on Mercer Island unless otherwise noted.
Everyone is welcome.

Discounts + Financial Assistance

Type	Discount	Details
Early Registration Discount	10% off	Register by March 11, 2022, and save 10% on all camps.
4-Week Discount	10% Off	Save 10% when you sign up your camper for four or more weeks of Camp Katan, Camp Kef, Sports Camp, J Camp at Luther Burbank, or J Camp Minis at Luther Burbank. Discount eligible on those four weeks only.
New Family Discount	$100 Off	Families new to the J are eligible for a $100 discount on a minimum registration of three weeks per camper.
Need-based scholarships		Need-based scholarships for camp tuition are available, based on a family’s ability to pay. Everyone who applies by the deadline and qualifies will receive assistance. Applications are due May 2, 2022. Learn more >>

Summer J Camp runs Monday-Friday, from 9:30 am to 4 pm, unless otherwise noted.

Extended Care

Extend your child’s camp day with before- and after-camp care. Morning care is available from 7:30-9:30 am. Afternoon care from 4-6 pm. Register for extended care when you’re signing up for camp. Learn more >>

Bus Transportation

We’ll pick kids up in the morning and bring them back in the afternoon. Available from select locations. Learn more >>

Looking for a summer job? We are looking for dedicated counselors and specialists who are eager to make a difference in the lives of our campers at Summer J Camp. Counselors work with kids ranging in age from pre-k to 10th grade. Whether you love sports, theater, cooking, science, or just having fun, you’ll love spending your summer working at the J!
