  • Weekdays: 7 – 7 pm

The fitness facilities at the J are available for members only. Please note, other than the Fitness Center, access to all other areas – including basketball, family swim, fitness classes, lap swim, and racquetball – are still by RESERVATION ONLY. Fitness Center

Per State of Washington’s current guidelines, we are able to increase our Fitness Center capacity and text reservations are no longer be required for Fitness Center use. Reservations are still required for all other fitness areas, including fitness classes along with lap and family swim. Access remains for members only.

  • Fitness Center Hours:
    • Monday through Friday Hours: 7 am – 7pm
    • Saturday and Sunday: 8 am – 4 pm
  • Please bring your SJCC membership card so we can scan you into the building. If yours has been misplaced, let our Welcome Desk team know and they’ll get you a new one. If you email amandap@sjcc.org or call us at 206-232-7115, at least 24 hours before you plan to come in, we’ll have a new card waiting for you. If you are a new member, the Welcome Desk team will issue you a card.
  • The SJCC’s current mask practice allows fully vaccinated individuals to remove their masks in the Fitness Center and other designated fitness areas. Masks are required in all common areas. Review the full policy here.
  • Health screenings will continue.
  • Before heading to the J, please assess your health with a pre-screen of yourself. If you do not feel 100% well, please stay at home and call your health care provider.
  • The J offers modified locker room and shower access to members. Click here for full information on locker room use policies.
  • The SJCC team will continue to remain vigilant in following all CDC, WA State Department of Health and King County Department of Health protocols for mitigating the spread of COVID-19 including (but not limited to) monitoring usage, ensuring members are following mask practices, physical distancing recommendations, as well as upholding our rigorous cleaning protocols.

• Racquetball court is limited to two individuals per timeslot.
• This reservation is limited to racquetball court ONLY and user is not allowed to use other fitness facilities at SJCC.
• When making reservation and playing with partner (who must also be a member), must submit their information as well.
• Timeslots are 45 minutes (per latest "Healthy Washington–Roadmap to Recovery" guidelines).
• User must bring own equipment.

The SJCC Basketball Court available timeslots for members only. Details:
• A team captain and fellow players must first register as a ‘team’. Basketball teams may consist of up to 12 players max and must remain a fixed team for the entire month. No additions, changes, or substitutions are allowed.
• Players must be current SJCC members.

• Team leaders may then reserve a timeslot by calling the Welcome Desk at 206-232-7115.
• A team can reserve one timeslot per weekend; reservations are accepted up to one hour before each timeslot, space permitting.
• Masks must be worn at all times. During your assigned time, your team can play in any subset you wish (1-on-1, 2-on-2, etc), but you may not play against another team and no players may be substituted or added.

Cancellation Policy

  • If you need to cancel a reservation, please call 206-232-7115 or email amandap@sjcc.org.
  • If you are unable to make your reserved time, you must cancel your appointment a minimum of 2 hours prior to the appointment time (see above). If you cancel later than 2 hours prior to the appointment or are a “no-show,” you will be subject to an $18 cancellation fee.
