Summer J Camp Counselors
J Camp staff work in teams to create meaningful, fun, and safe experiences for kids all summer. Together with dozens of your peers, you will develop leadership and problem-solving skills, learn how to empower, motivate and coach others, and have an excellent time doing so! Your days will be filled with swimming, arts & crafts, waterfront activities, singing, and opportunities to create engaging games and activities for your own cohort. Teacher/Support Teacher – Early Childhood School
Do you love working with young children and helping them thrive? The Early Childhood Teacher plays an integral role in fostering a supportive, inclusive, and engaging experience for young children enrolled in our school. Teachers collaborate to develop and deliver developmentally, individually, and culturally appropriate emergent curriculum, while promoting dignity, respect, and a positive self-concept. Guest Experience Specialist
The Guest Experience Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members, guests, and employees at the agency’s Welcome Desk, J Café, and/or Fitness Center. The Specialist plays an integral role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for members and guests visiting the Stroum Jewish Community Center.

The Custodian works in collaboration with other Maintenance team members to keep the SJCC facilities clean and ready for use. This is a 30 hour-per-week, benefits-eligible position. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm-9:30 pm.

Coordinator, Community Programs
SJCC’s dynamic community programs include year-round Jewish holiday celebrations, Mitzvah Corps volunteer events, Tot Shabbat programs, lifelong learning opportunities, and more. As the Coordinator, you will collaborate with the Senior Manager of Community Programs, as well as other internal and external partners, to plan and implement engaging and inclusive programs and events with the goal of fostering community and connection.

The Personal Trainer provides guidance and motivation to clients during personal training sessions, as well as other guests at the SJCC Fitness Center. They teach safe and effective exercise technique and proper use of equipment, while helping to maintain a positive and safe fitness center environment.

Manager on Duty
The Manager on Duty is responsible for providing leadership, problem-solving, and other support during the agency’s evening and weekend hours, responding to any emergency or escalated matters that arise during their shift and ensuring agency procedures are being followed.

The Aquatics Manager leads the operations of the SJCC Aquatics programs, including but not limited to, daily swim lessons and swim camps. The Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient management of all Aquatics programs, maintenance of the swimming pool facility, supervision of Aquatics staff, and collaboration with other SJCC departments and community partners.

Lifeguard Deck Supervisor
Do you love being poolside? Making sure people are having fun and being safe in the water? SJCC is hiring a weekend Deck Supervisor for our indoor, year-round pool. If you’re not a certified Lifeguard yet, we offer American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Classes throughout the year, and often hire directly out of our classes (see upcoming classes).

The Staff Accountant performs general accounting duties in accordance with the SJCC’s policies and procedures, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
