Ages 6-12 years
In our group lessons, young swimmers develop competency in swimming, along with confidence and endurance. Group lessons are based on age, with this class grouped for ages 6 to 12 years old. On the first day of class, we’ll assess swimmers and group them by ability.
This level is for swimmers who have completed Youth Level 2 or Preschool Level 3. Swimmers will continue to develop endurance while learning breaststroke and butterfly. Swimmers will advance to pre-comp when they’re able to swim the length of the pool freestyle with side breathing and backstroke and have a working understanding of breaststroke and butterfly. We also offer Youth Level 1 and Youth Level 2 lessons.
The SJCC reserves the right to combine or cancel classes when the minimum of 2 participant pairs is not met.

Weekly Lessons
These are held once per week for the session. Sessions are either seven or eight weeks depending on the day.
Youth Level 3 Class Times (maximum 4 per time slot)
Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday: 4:25-4:55 pm or 5:00-5:30 pm or 6:10-6:40 pm
Wednesday: 3:15-3:45 pm or 4:25-4:55 pm or 5:00-5:30 pm or 6:10-6:40 pm
Saturday or Sunday: 10-10:30 am or 11:10-11:40 am or 12:20-12:50 pm
