Positions (Open)
Counselors
Counselors are responsible for creating a positive and safe experience at summer camp for their designated group of campers. Pay is $18.50 to $20.50 per hour.ย
Activity Specialists
Activity Specialists plan and execute specific activities for campers of varying ages. Activities include archery, art, challenge course, cooking, dance, drama, Israeli culture, music, nature, sports, and STEAM.
Support Counselors
Camp Support Counselors assist with mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health (MESSH) support and behavior management of J Camp campers.
Waterfront Supervisor
The Waterfront Supervisor plans and executes boating activities for campers of varying ages at J Campโs waterfront. Applicants should be strong swimmers and willing to get Waterfront Lifeguard certified through the SJCC if they are not already.
Extended Care Supervisor
The Extended Care Supervisor supervises our extended care program while creating a positive and safe environment for all campers and staff.
Coordinators
Coordinators oversee an area of camp and supervise counselors. This job requires some prep time leading up to camp. Junior Coordinator and Senior Coordinator positions are available.ย
Programming Coordinator
The Camp Programming Coordinator oversees the camp schedule, plansย special events, supervises Camp Specialists, and creates a safe environment for campers and staff.ย
Site Directors
The Site Director supervises counselors and a junior camp coordinator, while overseeing the daily activities and operations of designated summer camp sites in Green Lake.
Camp Nurse
The Camp Nurse will look out for the physical health of the J Camp community, including campers and staff.
Filled Positions
Office Administrator
The Office Administrator manages the camp office, assisting with paperwork, communication, and expenses.
Camp Care Coordinator
Camp Care Coordinator: The Camp Care Coordinator is responsible for looking out for the mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health of the J Camp community, including campers, staff, and families. A masterโs degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or another related field is required.
