A program for dads/father figures + their pre-k to 2nd graders
J Explorers is a program for dads/father figures* and their pre-k to 2nd-grade kids to make connections and new friends within the J community and have a great time together.
Every month, each age-group cohort will plan their own activities just for their group. Maybe they’ll visit a corn maze in the fall, head to the mountains for snow tubing, enjoy a Shabbat dinner together, learn a new sport at a skills clinic, or participate in a service project—the possibilities are endless!
All the cohorts will come together for three big events throughout the year: a fall late-night at the J, a holiday pool party, and an overnight retreat at URJ Camp Kalsman.
Registration is closed. for more information contact Sarah Stochel at sarahst@sjcc.org.

*Please note: while this program was originally designed for dads/father figures and their children, we welcome all unique family situations. If you have any questions, please reach out to Youth Sports + Recreation Manager Sarah Stochel.
Thank you to our founders! Community members Craig Fisher and Eric Bensussen started J Explorers to provide dads and their children new opportunities to connect with one another and make new friends. The goal is to initiate and strengthen bonds within the J’s community while strengthening Judaic values.
