Teens on Weights

All 13-, 14- and 15-year-olds will need to earn our Teens on Weights certification to use free weights at the J. To receive the certification, they’ll need to participate in a fitness center orientation led by a member of the J Fitness team. Once certified to use free weights, teens will be issued a lanyard to wear while using the Fitness Center. This policy is designed to help maximize your teenโ€™s safety and proficiency in the weight room.
