2025 Summer Softball League on Mercer Island
SJCC Summer Softball returns this June, bringing another exciting season of fun, competition, and community spirit!
Spend your Sunday afternoons in the sunshine and swinging for the fences with your teammates. Whether you want to enjoy laidback fun with your friends or dominate the standings, there is a roster spot for you.
The J will offer both competitive and casual divisions this season. Open to ages 15 and up. All teams are co-ed. The season begins on Sunday, June 29, and will close with playoffs on Sunday, August 24. Games will be held at South Mercer Playfields and Homestead Field every Sunday between noon and 1:30 pm.
Sign up as a team or join as an individual and we’ll find you a spot on a roster—either way, you’re in for a great summer. See you on the diamond!

South Mercer Playfields, 8220 SE 78th St, Mercer Island
Homestead Field, 80th and 40th, Mercer Island
Rates:
- $110 members free agent for 9-week season
- $140 guests free agent for 9-week season
- $1,500 team (12-30 players)
Team Requirements + League Information:
- Minimum of 12 players; maximum of 30
- Ages 15+
- As a co-recreational league, the expectation is a least 3 women on the field and in the lineup
- Your team can have 2 women on the field, but then only 9 players on the field, rather than 10 and every fourth women batter is an out
- Rules will be given out at the beginning of the season
- Games will include umpires
