Hip Hop Dance

This hoppin’ class was created specifically for kids who love to dance! Students will have 6 weeks of fun and exciting classes that focus on the coolest dance moves to pop music. Participants will learn basic dance skills like keeping rhythm, following choreography, and developing body control all while building self-esteem and confidence in this energetic class.

Mindful Monkeys

Join Madeline as she helps build mindful activities with your child to grow healthy emotional and cognitive practices. Children will begin exploring the links between a balanced mind and body, and begin healthy habits inspired by yoga, science, and behavioral health.

Watts Basketball Academy

Kids learn the fundamentals of basketball from a PRO!  Players will build confidence, self-esteem, teamwork, and social skills while learning the basics and having fun. Led by Donald “Slick” Watts, former Seattle SuperSonics Guard and a Seattle schools physical education teacher of 20 years.

Jedi Engineering with LEGO Materials

The Force Awakens in this introductory engineering course for young Jedis! Explore engineering principles by designing and building projects using LEGO® materials such as X-Wings, R2 Units, Energy Catapults, Defense Turrets, and Settlements from a galaxy far, far away. Create motorized and architectural projects with imagination and engineering to defeat the Empire!

Cooking Up Knowledge

Students will discover the wonderful world of food science while exploring culinary cultures from around the world! Students will learn food and tool safety, basics of nutrition, how to work as a team, and time management.  

Food allergies must be reported to Enrichment Coordinator Vance Snelson before students can participate.

Explore Art with Mixed Media

Instructor: Smart with Art

Smart with Art has all-new, multimedia experiences every session, with both two and three-dimensional art. This session, experiment with materials such as clay, watercolors, metal tooling, acrylic, chalk/oil pastels, and more!  Each lesson explores principles and elements of design, art history, and culture, providing each child with the knowledge and skills they need to unleash his or her creativity. Students will unleash their imaginations to turn their ideas into beautiful works of art. Our session includes a sketchbook and concludes with an enriching art show. Dress for mess and join Smart with Art this session for creativity and fun!

STEM Sports: Multi-Sport

The STEM Multi-Sport program incorporates essential sports basics such as shooting (basketball), throwing (football), kicking (soccer), and general game-play into its curriculum to help students understand the science behind the sports they love.

Karate-X

Join Karate-X this year for awesome classes that are disciplined, challenging and fun! Students will learn and practice karate skills with punching bags, breaking boards, blocking drills, kicking targets and more!  Karate-X has been teaching in the Puget Sound for 19 years, with a martial arts program specifically designed for preschool and elementary students. Our professional instructors know how to motivate kids while building self-confidence and discipline. Belt rank testing is held at the end of each session, giving students goals to aim for and recognition of their accomplishments. For beginners who have never tried karate, to athletes of any sport, Karate-X will challenge and grow bodies and minds!

Little Coders: Coding Class

Friday | 4:30-5:30 pm   
k-2nd grade

Instructor: Coding with Kids

This course is the start of the coding pathway!  This class provides young students with the basics of computational thinking, such as coordinates, loops, and conditionals, through a blend of “unplugged” and online activities.  Designed specifically for early learners. Students will build on what they learned in pre-coding. Prior coding classes not required – new students are encouraged to join!
