Hanukkah Mitzvah and Cookie Party

Join the J community for a hands-on volunteer opportunity to bring winter warmth to families in need this holiday season by assembling warmth kits for refugees in our community.

We’ll assemble kits with essential items to keep the Seattle chill away this winter. The complete kits will be delivered to local shelters and families. These items help create a warm and safe environment and remind those who are in need that they are not alone.

For an extra treat, we’ll have a cookie decorating party as an early Hanukkah celebration.

This is an all-ages event. Whether you want to make a difference on your own or with your family, everyone is welcome!

This event, and all other SJCC community events and programs, are open to both SJCC members and guests of all faiths and backgrounds.
