The J has something for everyone to get fit! From the largest fitness center on Mercer Island and our various courts, to our large selection of fitness classes, our fitness staff can help you find the best way to #GetFit.


After a month of celebrating joy and movement, itโ€™s time to turn the page and look ahead to all that April has in store. With a new season upon us, this monthโ€™s theme is โ€œSpring Into Freedom,โ€ or the Hebrew phrase ึดืžึดืžึผึตืฆึทืจ ืœึฐืžึถืจึฐื—ึธื‘ (MiMeitzar Lโ€™Merchav), meaning โ€œfrom narrowness to expansiveness.โ€ Inspired by Passover and the Exodus, this is a time to leave behind old habits and step into new possibilities.

The J has a regulation-sized gymnasium that’s home to a wide range of activities, including pickup basketball, pickleball, volleyball, open gym, and more.

Aquatics

Kids Sports Leagues
The J also has sports leagues for kids! Join us for our recreational kids sports leagues: fall soccer and winter Dinky Dunkers basketball.

Drop-in Childcare
Our Drop-In Childcare program is continuing โ€” now with expanded hours! Enjoy easy, supervised childcare while you work out or take some well-deserved time for yourself at the J.
