Humans of October 7th: Israeli Photojournalist Exhibit + Speaker Presentation

October 11 • 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Join us for an evening with acclaimed Israeli artist and photojournalist Erez Kaganovitz, creator of the powerful exhibition Humans of October 7th. SJCC will exhibit select photos in the J Café before the event: on display Sept 1- Oct 11.

Israeli artist and photojournalist Erez Kaganovitz felt it was imperative to counter misconceptions, rising antisemitism and show the human side of Israel. The result: Humans of October 7th, a powerful photography project that brings to light the personal bravery and human stories of Israelis who stood up against terrorism. His work and presentation reveal what Kaganovitz calls “Israeli D.N.A. at its best”—the incredible spirit and resilience of the Israeli people—and remind us what we are working to protect. Featuring stories and photos from the project, Humans of October 7th invites attendees to an interactive, frank conversation on hope, resilience and the future of Israeli society.

Location to be sent after registration.

Copresented by AJC Seattle, Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, Shevet Matar/Tzofim Seattle, StandWithUs Northwest, Stroum Jewish Community Center and Temple De Hirsch Sinai.
