Counselors in Training explore leadership and tzedakah (philanthropy) through hands-on project management experiences. They’ll learn how to be a camp counselor at the J while fine-tuning leadership skills with an emphasis on group dynamics, curriculum creation, project management, and problem-solving. In this two-week training program, they will act as a counselor’s assistant and learn how to facilitate a group of kids with confidence, work with a team, and create + successfully implement a program. We’ll provide daily check-ins, guidance, guest speakers, and final project opportunities. The CIT program is available in two sessions; sign up for one or both and join this amazing cohort of future leaders for a life-changing summer experience!
