Week 5 brought the sun and we brought the fun!
This week, campers stayed busy exploring new activities, getting creative with tie-dye, and making memories through arts, games and outdoor adventures. We beat the Seattle summer heat with plenty of swimming, lake days and water-filled fun, then wrapped up the week with a special Israel Day celebration where campers experienced the beaches of Eilat, played matkot (Israel’s popular beach paddle game), explored a bustling shuk (marketplace), enjoyed a luna park (amusement park), visited our own mini-Western Wall to leave messages of hope, and welcomed Shabbat together. Along the way, campers also tasted homemade hummus, learned about life on a kibbutz, and explored more of Israel through hands-on activities.
