Walking Tour at UW Pacific Connections Garden

Explore the five eco-geographic regions of the Pacific Connections Garden at Washington Park Arboretum on a guided walking tour celebrating the plants, cultures, and landscapes of the Pacific Rim. This unique garden features landscapes inspired by regions including New Zealand, Australia, Chile, China, and the Pacific Northwest, highlighting the connections between nature, culture, and people across the Pacific.

Tour Location

UW Pacific Connections Garden at Washington Park Arboretum 

The tour will start at the south end of the Seattle Japanese Garden Parking lot. Docents will be there to greet and gather visitors and guide them across the street and up the hill to the Pacific Connections Garden for the tour


This event is part of the SJCC Endless Opportunities series, a community program offering daytime educational and social events where participants can learn, connect, laugh, and build friendships. Endless Opportunities is hosted by the Stroum Jewish Community Center and made possible through the support of our community partners: Congregation Beth Shalom, Congregation Kol Ami, Jewish Family Service, Kline Galland, Temple Beth Am, Temple B’nai Torah, and Temple De Hirsch Sinai.
