August Lifeguard Certification Course

Whether you’re looking to jumpstart your career with a splash or dive into a side hustle that saves lives, lifeguarding is a rewarding job that will develop your confidence, communication skills, and leadership abilities—all of which are transferable to any future career path.  

The J Aquatics team is excited to welcome a new cohort of lifeguard trainees for the 2025 season. No prior lifeguarding experience is necessary; we will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to excel as a lifeguard. If you plan to join the J’s lifeguard team, we’ll waive the $300 fee for this course. 

Registration for this event closes on Aug. 16

This course offers certifications in: 

• Lifeguarding  

• CPR for the Professional Rescuer 

• First Aid 

• AED through American Red Cross 

Class Prerequisite 

• A 4-hour online training with the American Red Cross
