Couples & Conversation: Antisemitism Edition (Online)

Are you seeking to talk with your partner and other interfaith couples about antisemitismโ€”what antisemitism is, how it shows up today or how to combat it? Ever wonder how to talk to your partner when you hear about acts of antisemitism or experience anxiety about rising antisemitism? This four-part series will give interfaith, multi-faith, Jew-ish, etc. couples the practical knowledge and tools needed to respond when these things happen, as well as connections with other couples experiencing the same challenges.

Mondays, November 17 and 24 and December 1 & 8 at 7:00-8:30pm ET.

Facilitated by Rabbi Sarah Newmark.

This event is $44, and registration is required.

Meet the facilitator: Rabbi Sarah Newmark is a Reconstructionist rabbi living in Gig Harbor who works under the rubric of Locally Sourced Judaism. She is the immediate past president of Washington Coalition of Rabbis. Rabbi Sarah’s current work focuses on Jewish life cycle events, especially her own brand, “Handcrafted Jewish Weddings,” teaching, pastoral care, accompanying people on their Jewish journeys and political activism. In addition, she is an 18Doors Fellow and certified Mussar facilitator. Rabbi Sarah strongly believes in “big tent Judaism,” where everyone is invited into the “tent” without being required to ascribe to a certain set of beliefs or practices.
