Mahjong Tournament

The SJCC is back with our third annual Mahjong Tournament. Enjoy the fun and excitement of a tournament with friendly competition! 

Join mahjong enthusiasts, connect with local players, and enjoy the excitement of tournament play. For the best experience, we recommend participants be comfortable playing at a quick pace and have a complete and thorough understanding of the rules and gameplay. 

All participants must commit to playing the full three-round tournament.   

What to Expect 

• Three hours of intensive mahjong play    

• Prizes for top scorers  

• Raffle prizes  

• Vegetarian lunch included in registration fee 

Tournament Rules 

Each player must have their own copy of the National Mahjong League 2026 card. Paper copies of the 2026 card will not be accepted.

We will follow the National Mahjong League’s official tournament rules. Rules will be discussed and explained at the beginning of the tournament.

Schedule

10–10:30 am: Welcome + Rules Explanation

10:30–11:30 am: Round 1

11:45 am–12:45 pm: Round 2

12:45 pm–1:30 pm: Lunch Break

1:30 pm–2:30 pm: Round 3

2:30 pm–3 pm: Prizes + Closing

Registration is required. The deadline to register is Tuesday, April 7. No refunds will be issued within one week of the tournament.
