Great Seattle Challah Bake
Lead by Elisabeth Cohen, SJCC Member and owner of Miriam’s Bakeshop, each registered participant will experience mixing, kneading, and braiding the dough. Each registered participant over the age of 10 will get a challah kit and branded apron! We encourage kids under the age of 10 to make a challah with their registered adult(s).
Registration is per person. One challah kit and an apron per person over the age of 10.
Gluten-free, Kosher, and vegan dough options available (select during registration). Please note that while alternatives are provided, gluten and eggs will still be present in the room.

Prices go up a week before the event and registration will close Friday January 23, at midnight. No registration at the door.

Challah superstar Elisabeth Cohen is the owner and head baker at Miriam’s Bakeshop, a Schwartz ECS parent, and a member of the J. Originally from Queens, NY, she’s been baking professionally for over 15 years in NYC, Tel Aviv, and now Seattle! She’s thrilled to bring a taste of New York to the Seattle area.
