Arts + Ideas

At the center of Jewish life in greater Seattle, the SJCC offers a rich mix of engaging Arts + Ideas programs.

The SJCC is thrilled to bring you another amazing season of Arts + Ideasโ€”live in the theater and onlineโ€”with the Seattle Jewish Film Festival, and our Chew on This! speaker series featuring authors, chefs, and thought leaders to feed your mind, soul, and palate.

This year, Chew on This! also includes Roots + Resilience, a special series of programs created to โ€œmeet the moment.โ€ Through conversations and interactive workshops, this series explores how Jewish family, faith, spirit, cultural practices, and traditions can ground and sustain us in todayโ€™s fraught and divisive times.

Our seasonโ€™s artists and speakers will make you laugh, cry, see things from new perspectives, spark thought provoking conversations, and connect with your community.
