Join us Tuesday and Thursday with Leslie at 4:30 pm for our group fitness class, H.I.R.T. Intermediate (High Intensity Resistance Training) Short bursts of high-intensity exercise followed by short periods of rest. Designed to burn fat, build muscle, and improve cardiovascular conditioning and endurance.
Strengthen your core and improve overall stability in this Pilates class performed on the mat. Using controlled movements and mindful breathing, you’ll build strength in the abdominals, back, hips, and glutes while improving posture, flexibility, and body awareness.
Each week features a different “countdown” format—from descending reps and timed intervals to strength-focused sets and team-based challenges—so every class feels fresh, engaging, and effective.

Build strength while flowing through yoga with Jill N. in this energizing class that blends traditional yoga with light weights and functional strength exercises.
Join us Friday morning (7:15 am) for our senior-focused fitness class, Ageless Strength Training with Nenna. Offered at the J, this class provides a variety of trainings from “stations” to aerobics, to strengthening and stretching and balance.
Join SJCC instructor Nenna on Friday at 8:30 am for our intermediate group fitness class Slow Flow Yoga. This class is meditative and geared for a slower pace of yoga.
Join us at the J's indoor pool every weekday (Monday, Wednesday + Friday) at 9 am for our AquaFit beginner group fitness class led by our fitness staff. Aqua Fit is a heart-pumping workout with no added impact on your joints.
Held every Friday at 9:45 am, we welcome Shabbat with singing, dancing, friends and fun! Registration not required, just come by the J.
