Gift of Life Pop-Up Drive

Adults, ages 18-40, it takes less than five minutes with a simple cheek swab, to join the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Registry—where you could save a life. Diversity within the registry is essential because patients are more likely to find a match within their own ethnic background.

This event is a free walk-up event, but we ask you to register in advance so we have enough registration kits.

Gift of Life was founded in the early 90s by their CEO, Jay Feinberg, who was diagnosed with leukemia and struggled to find a match due to his Jewish heritage. His experience inspired him to dedicate his life’s work to expanding and diversifying the registry. Once on the registry, about 1 in 100 people get called as a match. If you’re called to donate, Gift of Life will guide you through the entire process. Through global collaborations, Gift of Life works to increase the chances of finding a match for patients, ensuring that more lives are saved. We believe everyone battling blood cancer deserves a second chance at life, and we are determined to make that happen. Whether as a donor, volunteer, or supporter, getting involved is how we can work together to cure blood cancer: one person, one swab, one life at a time.
