ECS Truck Day 2025 at the J

The trucks rolled back into the Stroum Jewish Community Center on Thursday, May 15 for one of our favorite traditionsโ€”ECS Truck Day! Our Early Childhood School students, along with friends from the community, enjoyed a hands-on day exploring trucks and vehicles of all kinds.

Check out the fun:

We had a fire truck, ambulance, various tractors and a dump truck, a snow plow, two Mercer Island School District school buses, a bomb squad truck complete with a robot dog (named Fluffy), a police car and police boat, a tow truck, and motorcycles from the Seattle Tribe.

A huge thank you to our amazing truck partners who made this day unforgettable:

We are so grateful to these organizations and the individuals who took the time to connect with our kids. Your presenceโ€”and your vehiclesโ€”made a lasting impression.

Special thanks to our ECS parent Truck Day Committee for helping bring it all together:
David Shujman, Justin Merriman, and Daniel Becker.
