Membership
Cancellation requires 30 day written notice. All membership changes must be made in writing by the Primary Account Holder. If you join via a promotion and cancel within the first 12 months of your contract, your financial obligation continues. If you pay for the entire year in one payment, there will be no refunds.
Schwartz Early Childhood School
SECURING YOUR CHILDโS SPOT: FINAL PROGRAM MONTH TUITION PREPAYMENT 2025-2026
For all children enrolling in the Schwartz Early Childhood School for the 2025-26 school year, prepayment for the final month of your program selection (June 2025 for 9-month programs; August 2024 for 12-month programs) is required to secure your spot and cannot be applied to any other tuition payment. Under no circumstances will this tuition prepayment be refunded, even if you withdraw before the scheduled end date of your program selection. Because this tuition prepayment holds this spot for your child for the entire program year, there will be no partial refund of the tuition prepayment for schedule reductions. Your final program month tuition prepayment will be charged on March 5, 2026 for the 2025-26 school year. If you withdraw your child from the 2025-26 school year at any time after you accept a space for your child the full amount of the final program month tuition prepayment will be charged upon receipt of your withdrawal notice.
WITHDRAWAL/REFUND
Thirty (30) daysโ written notification is required to withdraw from the Schwartz ECS program. The current month payment will be charged as usual and will not be prorated for any partial month. Your final program month tuition prepayment cannot be applied to the current month. Neither the current month tuition nor the final program month tuition prepayment are refundable under any circumstances. If you withdraw your child from the 2025-26 school year at any time after submitting an application, the full amount of the final program month tuition prepayment will be charged to your credit card or EFT on file upon receipt of your withdrawal notice.
Personal Training
Clients must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance of their scheduled training session, in writing by emailing their personal trainer at their SJCC email. Cancelations made within the 24 hour window will be charged as a full session.
Training packages are good for 1 year from the purchase date. This credit must be used within 6 months of issue date (not applicable to membership fees.)
Group Training Cancelation: We are committed to helping you set and achieve your fitness goals, maintain a fitness routine is the foundational first step. As such, no make-ups, credits or refunds will be given for missed or canceled sessions. Sessions are non-transferable.
Session Cancelations: If you think you will need to miss more than 1 training over the course of the session, you are welcome to cancel the session at least 7 days prior to the start by emailing our Group Fitness Coordinator, Leslie Rubenstein at LeslieR@sjcc.org.
Gym Closure/Instructor Canceled Session Policy
In the event of a closure due to inclement weather, mechanical, or any other issue, a make-up training session will be offered before the next schedule training session. There will be no credits, additional make-up days/times, or refunds given for missed make-up sessions. We reserve the ability to substitute your trainer in the absence of your normal trainer.
Sports Leagues:
Our Sports League cancelation policy allows for cancelations with a refund as long as they occur 14 days in advance of the start of the season by emailing our Fitness and Sports Manager, Austin Williams at AustinW@sjcc.org.
Aquatics
Private/Semi-Private Swim Lessons Session Enrollments & Session Cancelations:
We will continue to enroll swimmers in reoccurring sessions of Private & Semi Private Swim Lessons until we receive a written cancelation request to Account Service Manager, Beth Rosen at BethR@sjcc.org. AQUATICS@SJCC.ORG at least 7 days prior to the start of the session.
Session Cancelations: If you think you will need to miss more than 1 swim lesson over the course of the session, you are welcome to cancel the session at least 7 days prior to the start of the session by emailing both Account Services Manager, Beth Rosen at BethR@sjcc.org and the Aquatics team at Aquatics@Sjcc.org. Cancelations received after this time will not be refunded or credited for the session.
Single Swim Lesson Cancelation: Private and semi-private swim lesson sessions are priced to account for 1 missed swim lesson during the session. You no longer need to notify the Aquatics Team by email at least 7 days in advance or pay a cancelation fee for your missed swim lessons. No make-ups, credits or refunds will be given for missed or canceled swim lessons.
Private Swim Lesson Holds: We offer patrons the ability to place their Private and Semi-Private lessons on hold for a maximum of 1 session. When you place your lessons on hold, we will keep your swim lesson time and day for 1 session for a $50.00 hold fee. When you re-enroll the following session the $50.00 fee will be used as a credit towards your swim lesson for this session only. The hold fee is non-refundable and cannot be credited towards any additional sessions.
For example, if you hold private lessons for Spring 1, the hold fee is only able to be used for Spring 2 private and semi-private lessons.
Private & Semi-Private Pro Rate Policy:
If you request to join a class after the first lesson has taken place, we will prorate the class based on the remaining lessons, plus a $20.00 late fee.
Pool Closure & Canceled Swim Lesson Policy
In the event of a pool closure due to inclement weather, contamination, mechanical, chemical or any other issue, a make-up swim lesson will be offered. There will be no credits, additional make-up days/times, or refunds given for missed make-up lessons.
If a make-up lesson is not offered, a credit will be given a credit in the form of an emailed a discount code. This credit must be used for the following session (aka. A 2025: Spring 1 Swim Lesson credit must be used in 2025: Spring 2 Swim Lesson Session). Failure to apply/use the discount code for the session immediately following the current session, will result in loss of the credit.
Lifeguard/CPR Classes & Group Swim Lesson Cancelation Policy:
Our cancelation policy allows for cancelations with a refund as long as they occur 7 days in advance of the start of the following sessions Fall 1, Fall 2, Winter, Spring 1 and Spring 2 and 2 weeks in advance of the start of the Summer sessions by emailing the Aquatics Team at Aquatics@sjcc.org.
Spring 1- Last Day to Cancel- February 17
Spring 2- Last Day to Cancel- April 14
SUMMER 2025:
June 23rd for the 1 day per week Summer Swim Lessons on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and on the following days for the week long swim lessons:

J Camp & School’s Out Camps
J Camp (summer)
If you cancel by April 30, you will receive a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee.โฏIf you cancel between May 1 and 31, 2025, you will receive a 50% refund minus a $50 administrative fee.โฏFrom June 1, 2025, until the end of camp, camp fees are not refundable.โฏ
If the SJCC cancels a camp for any reason, you will receive a credit or a full refund. We are unable to offer refunds if campers are ill or quarantining and unable to attend camp.
School’s Out J Camp
If your plans change, you must submit a refund request in writing to Beth Rosen. Registration fees are subject to a full refund less a $10 processing fee if the request is received at least two weeks before the program start date. No refunds will be granted within two weeks of the program start date. We will make every effort to accommodate requests for a change to a different day prior to the beginning of each program, pending availability. This allows us to hire the appropriate number of Counselors and prepare enriching activities for our campers.
Enrichment & After School Classes
Registration will continue throughout the session when space is available. Late registrations are prorated as follows:

To cancel an Enrichment Class you must email youthandRec@sjcc.org.
Refunds or credits are available if email is sent 7 days prior to the session start date. Refunds, credits, and make-up sessions are not available for any missed enrichment class.
We must have at least five kids to run a class effectively and will make the final decision by the end of the second week of classes.
A positive group dynamic is essential for a successful Enrichment experience.
We will make every effort to accommodate requests for a change to a different class prior to the beginning of each session, pending availability. Once the session has begun, these requests will be considered on a case by case basis and may be subject to an administrative fee.
If a class has to be cancelled by the SJCC, the SJCC will, at its discretion, reschedule the class, offer a refund, or SJCC credit.
Kidstown Before and After School Care

Event registrations and ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges except in the case of program cancellation. All programs are subject to change or rescheduling without notice.
