Beginner Crochet
Learn crochet basics from Israeli arts and crafts teacher, Tamar Kats. Standard crochet hooks and yarn will be provided. Each class will focus on a new technique, and you will take something home each week!

About the Instructor
Tamar Kats recently retired after 33 years of teaching elementary school arts & crafts, science, and home economics in Israel and in the US. When her mother passed away a few years ago, Tamar discovered an immense amount of yarn in one of her mother’s drawers. Her first thought was to discard it, but instead, she decided to create something from it, using amigurumi, the Japanese technique of crocheting dolls and animals. Since then, she has discovered a passion for making animals and other doll figures.
