Ways To Give

There are so many ways to give!

You can help forge friendships, foster healthy lifestyles and habits, build community and connection to Judaism, and nurture an overall sense of belonging for everyone by investing in the J. Just decide which way you’d like to support our work.

Donor-Advised Funds

The SJCC gratefully accepts donations from Donor Advised Funds.  Use the information above to help your financial institution find the SJCC and make a distribution from your fund.

Gifts of Stock/Appreciated Assets

Consider donating an appreciated asset as your annual gift. Stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and life insurance can all fuel the important work we do while providing you a significant tax benefit.  To make an appreciated asset gift, please refer to our Stock Transfer Instructions.

Qualified IRA Charitable Distribution

If you are over 70 ½ and do not need your annual IRA distribution, you can skip the penalty and save income taxes by making a qualified charitable distribution to the SJCC. Provide the contact information above to the financial institution that holds your IRA and they will send your donation directly to the SJCC.  Always consult with a qualified tax advisor for any questions about eligibility and benefits.

Workplace Giving/Matching Gifts

Most all donations to the SJCC are eligible for corporate matching gifts. When you give through your workplace giving your investment in the J grows. If you need a receipt or confirmation of a recent gift, please contact Kim Isaac Brooks
