The SJCC’s 75th anniversary kicked off in September 2023. While we had planned for a year of celebration, it was quickly overshadowed by the horrific attacks in Israel on October 7. Thankfully, in our true SJCC way, we galvanized our community and tended to one another as we stood together in mourning, disbelief, and hope for peace and the hostages’ safe return.
Through it all, we’ve stayed laser-focused on cultivating profound Jewish connections for every generation. In a resilient response to the year’s challenges, our community came together to share moments of centering, connection, and simcha (joyous celebrations). Our events and programs have fostered friendships and solidarity, and kindled tons of laughter and love — all of which is much needed at a time like this.
