Summer Camp 2008
The time to register for SJCC Summer Camp 2008 is NOW!

Are you looking for a fun activity for your 5th through 8th grader this summer? Take a look at what SJCC Summer Camp has to offer the "Tween Set." We've got one-week sports exploration camps (including outdoor adventure with hiking and kayaking field trips), soccer, tennis, and more. We've got one-week arts camps with photography, tie-dye, paper mache and candles. We've got science with rockets and robots. And we've got three-week music, drama and dance camps. Don't forget our extraordinary Director's Cut film camp for grades 7-10 where budding filmmakers make documentaries, music videos and short films.

Hearing Loss: What are the options?

Does everyone seem to mumble? Is background noise making communication difficult? Allison Zarkos, M.A., and Susan Bean, M.S., certified audiologists at the Listen for Life Center at Virginia Mason will discuss the causes of hearing loss and explain the types of hearing loss, as well as hearing aid and cochlear implant technology. You will also get a chance to see models of some of the newer devices that can improve your quality of life. For opera and all music lovers, the SJCC warmly presents an exciting and original lecture series in collaboration with Seattle Opera on opera and its connection with Jewish themes and performers.  Please join us for the next lecture, on Sunday, June 1, at 4 p.m.

An Evening of Appreciation and Unity Honoring Nine Disabled Israeli Veteran Soldiers

Join us for a unique evening as we honor nine Israeli veterans who were disabled while protecting Israel.
