ECS Truck Day 2025 at the J

The trucks rolled back into the Stroum Jewish Community Center on Thursday, May 15 for one of our favorite traditions—ECS Truck Day! Our Early Childhood School students, along with friends from the community, enjoyed a hands-on day exploring trucks and vehicles of all kinds.

Check out the fun:

We had a fire truck, ambulance, various tractors and a dump truck, a snow plow, two Mercer Island School District school buses, a bomb squad truck complete with a robot dog (named Fluffy), a police car and police boat, a tow truck, and motorcycles from the Seattle Tribe.

A huge thank you to our amazing truck partners who made this day unforgettable:

We are so grateful to these organizations and the individuals who took the time to connect with our kids. Your presence—and your vehicles—made a lasting impression.

Special thanks to our ECS parent Truck Day Committee for helping bring it all together:
David Shujman, Justin Merriman, and Daniel Becker.
