Waterfront Coordinator
The Waterfront Coordinator plans and executed boating activities for campers of varying ages at J Camp’s waterfront. Camp Care Coordinator
Are you passionate about mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health (MESSH) in children and young adults? Do you have social work, psychology, or other related experience? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the role of Camp Care Coordinator at the Stroum Jewish Community Center.

Note: * $6,500 salary is based on working every day of camp during all nine weeks for a first-year counselor. Figure is before taxes.
Camp Staff Schedule
- Staff training runs June 16 – June 20 (hours vary; no training June 19)
- Camp runs June 24-Aug. 23 (see weekly schedule below)
- During camp, staff hours are: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 4:15 pm; Wednesdays, 8:30 am to 5:15 pm
- Camp staff works anywhere from 3 to 9 weeks (position dependent)
