The Stroum Jewish Community Center is committed to ensuring that our programs and services are accessible and welcoming to all. We believe that all families wishing to provide their children with an early learning experience based on Jewish values should have the opportunity. Application
Please click here to send a confidential email request for an application.
If you share financial responsibility with another person living at a different address, you must send us a copy of the court order/parenting plan that outlines the division of financial obligation and both responsible parties must complete an Application for Tuition Assistance.
In order to apply for Tuition Assistance, applicants must have no outstanding obligations with the SJCC and have an income at or below the levels on the annual household income chart.
Notification
For priority consideration, returning ECS families must provide the application and required documentation no later than January 12, 2020. Families will be notified of the results of their application by January 20, 2020. New families can apply for tuition assistance during their primary application window, February 3-7; they will be notified the week of March 2. Applications received by the SJCC after these deadlines will be evaluated on a monthly basis based on the availability of funds. Applicant families will be notified by the middle of the month following the month they submit their applications.
Applicants will be notified, in writing, of tuition assistance. This notification will be your confirmation of tuition assistance for the school year and payment arrangements must be made at that time. Tuition assistance is not automatically renewed. Families need to apply each program year. If a family’s financial situation changes mid-year we request a new application be completed.
