What’s J Explorers?
Community Members Craig Fisher and Eric Bensussen started J Explorers in an effort to provide dads and their children new opportunities to connect with one another, and make new friends. The goal is to initiate and strengthen bonds within the J’s community while strengthening Judaic values.
This program is designed for dads and their kindergarten through 3rd grade kids and relies on the partnership of dads in our community to help us manifest fun and meaningful experiences. We organize a program every other month, culminating in an epic overnight camp out at Camp Solomon Schechter the first weekend in June! From snow tubing to service projects, corn mazes to pool parties, we organize events for dads and kids to have a great time.

We’re heading to Camp Solomon Schechter for the 8th annual J Explorers Spring Campout. This event is a great way for dads and their kindergarten through 3rd grade kids to connect while getting the full camp experience! We’ll swim, go boating, do archery and arts and crafts, play gaga, celebrate Havdalah, and enjoy s’mores and songs around the campfire.
