SixThirTeens is a community service group for Jewish 6th-12th graders in the Seattle area. Their goal is to have fun while performing mitzvot (good deeds). There are no membership or attendance requirements – serve one time or every time! Keep in touch with the SixThirTeens.

Before you can volunteer with us, you need to fill out a volunteer application form. Click here for instructions.

Have questions or know a teen who’d like to get involved? Email Jessica Ost for more information.

Backpack Drive

Wednesday August 21 | 11 am-2 pm
Herzl-Ner Tamid, 3700 E Mercer Way, Mercer Island

Join the SixThirTeens for the first event of the year! We’re partnering with Herzl-Ner Tamid for our third annual backpack drive. Help us assemble bags filled with school supplies to donate to Leschi Elementary School. Enjoy bagels and donuts, give back to the community, and get to know your fellow teens.

Please help us collect school supplies for the backpack drive – check out their Amazon wishlist for items the kids need. Any donation is appreciated!

If you have questions, please contact Jessica Ost, Program Manager, Teen Philanthropy, at or 206-388-1987.
