Winning Her Wings features WWII’s groundbreaking Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) through the eyes of one Jewish woman serving in the WASP program. Combining a dynamic combination of solo theatre and powerful archival film footage, this dynamic production brings to life one woman’s determination to fight against prejudice, antisemitism, and fascism, at home and abroad. Winning Her Wings is inspired by the real Jewish voices, stories, and perspectives that rarely make it into traditional accounts of World War II history.

As Artistic Director and performer with Living Voices, Rachael McClinton is happy to share “Winning Her Wings.” Rachael has performed nationally in productions ranging from Musicals to Shakespeare. The creation of Living Voices was inspired by the mission to bring life to history through the powerful combination of solo theater and archival film. “Winning Her Wings” has been performed at the Museum of Flight, NW Museum of Arts & Culture, Colorado College, the Museum of History & Industry, Washington State Historical Museum and in educational settings and museums nationally
