Virtual SJCC: Be Your Own Esther Interactive Workshop

Queen Esther, the hero of our Purim story was strong in mind, body, and spirit when her heroic acts saved the Jews from the evil Haman. In this interactive, virtual workshop, geared toward kids ages 8-12, we’ll all learn how to be our own Esther. We’ll explore ways to help kids feel strong in mind, body, and spirit as they transition back to in-person school during COVID.

A glimpse at the topics we’ll explore:

• Strong in Mind: What will help us feel comfortable and confident at school? How can we prepare ourselves? What is in our worry box? How can we stand up for ourselves and get support when we are confused/scared/nervous?
• Strong in Body: Together we will strengthen our bodies with a 20-minute fun and physical workout! We’ll stretch, move, and get our sweat on!
• Strong in Spirit: We will explore what we can learn from Esther’s story and how to channel her strength in our own lives.
