Need help figuring out your smartphone, tablet, or laptop? Our teen volunteers are here to guide you through the basics—and beyond! Bring your device and your questions, and get one-on-one support in a friendly, patient environment. Learn how to send photos, use video chat, manage apps, explore social media, and more.

This is a free event open to all seniors who want to feel more confident and connected in the digital world.
We will provide snacks and beverages for all guests! We look forward to a morning of connection and learning!
This event is in collaboration with the SJCC’s Endless Opportunities, bringing generations together to learn, share, and connect through technology.
Need to Know Before the Event!
For Seniors:
- Bring your device(s) – smartphone, tablet, or laptop you want to learn about.
- Bring your charger – nothing stops learning faster than a dead battery!
- Have your passwords handy – for email, Wi-Fi, or app stores, so we can help you log in.
- Come with questions – think of what you’ve been wanting to learn (sending photos, video calls, social media, apps, etc.).
- Arrive early – we’ll start right on time with a group intro before breaking into one-on-one help.
For Teens (Volunteers)
- School’s out, so come hang out! – It’s a weekday without classes, perfect for giving back and connecting with the community.
- Arrive by 10:15 AM – to meet fellow volunteers and get paired up with senior(s)
- Bring patience and positivity – we’re here to make seniors feel supported and confident.
- Bring your own device – for showing examples or demonstrating features.
- Bring your charger – nothing stops learning faster than a dead battery!
