SixThirTeens Volunteer in the Garden
September 11 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Start the new school year off by helping people in your community! Join the SixThirTeens as we harvest the fruits and vegetables in the J’s Kesher Community Garden to donate to those without access to healthy food.
As a result of COVID-19, more Washingtonians are finding themselves food insecure and without access to healthy foods. Help us help our neighbors as we harvest and weed the garden to give food to those in need and make sure the produce in the garden will continue to grow next season.
This event is full. Join us for additional opportunities on Monday, September 21, and Thursday, October 1.
- Volunteering will take place outside and physical distancing will be followed.
- Please bring your own facemask and gloves.
- Maximum of 4 teens per session.
- This event is free, but registration is required.
