Period Product Donation Drive

The SJCC Mitzvah Corps is partnering with T2P2 (Towers of Tampons & Pyramids of Pads), for a period product donation drive. This Seattle-based collective is committed to disrupting period poverty throughout Seattle and beyond by providing Period Packs to organizations servicing low-income, students, and unhoused people. Did you know that tampons and pads are considered “luxury” items ineligible for purchase on government assistance programs like food stamps? Period Packs disturbed by T2P2 can help those living on the streets and in transitional housing access this necessity.
Requested Items
- Boxes of tampons and pads (all absorbance levels)
- Panty liners
- Feminine hygiene wipes
- Hand sanitizer
We’ll have boxes in the SJCC lobby between November 7 and 20 – please bring new packages of tampons and pads to donate. The products will be collected and donated to women’s shelters across greater Seattle.
