Paddleboard Class: Week 1
July 26 @ 7:00 am - July 30 @ 8:30 am$175 – $200
Learn to paddleboard on Lake Washington! We’ll learn beginning strokes while sitting or kneeling, prone paddling (without a paddle), and how to stand up. Once students are comfortable on their feet, we’ll learn the forward stroke, turning, balance, falling safely, and getting back on. You will also learn about equipment, water safety, and how to read the water. After a week on the water, you’ll feel confident and ready to paddle on your own!
$175 SJCC members; $200 guests
Includes use of board, paddle, leash, and lifejacket

Open to ages 14 and up; younger students may be approved on a case-by-case basis. All students must be comfortable in the water, know how to swim, and be able to tread water. Contact instructor Jessi Wasson with questions.
