March Urban Hike with Susie

Join fitness favorite Susie Rosenstein for a series of Urban Hikes in the Seattle area. We’ll hike rain or shine, so don’t forget to pack a rain jacket! This month’s walk will be on some of Mercer Island’s well-know and hidden paths.

We will meet in the parking lot in front of Starbucks. Our route will head north through the northwest quadrant of Pioneer Park. We continue north through the lower section of Island Crest Park and then loop back south on quiet neighborhood streets. The southern portion of the route will take us through the Middle School, Island Point and Tarrywood neighborhoods. We will be on a mix of dirt paths and sidewalks. The terrain is generally flat with some rolling hills and one set of stairs (which can be avoided with an alternative route).
