Spread light to families in need this Hanukkah. The SJCC and Schwartz Early Childhood School are partnering with Jewish Family Service’s Winter Warmth Drive to donate new warm gifts and winter-friendly clothing items to the families JFS serves. We’ll have displays around the building with hands listing requested items – simply select the ones you want to purchase, then bring your unwrapped gifts back to the J anytime between November 10 through December 5 by 10 am! This is a wonderful way to help our community and teach children about tzedakah (charitable giving) and mitzvot (good deeds).
When you donate these new winter items, you’ll provide families with warm necessities they may not have when they arrive.
