February Urban Hike with Susie

Join fitness favorite Susie Rosenstein for a series of Urban Hikes in the Seattle area. Hikes take place once a month on Sundays at 10 am. We’ll hike rain or shine, so don’t forget to pack a rain jacket!

Meeting Point: Center for Urban Horticulture, 3501 NE 41st Street, Seattle, WA. 98105 – main parking lot
Route length: 4.5+ miles
Walk Description: The walk begins at the Center for Urban Horticulture. We will walk through the Union Bay nature area and then head south along Union Bay, including walking behind Husky Stadium. At the UW Waterfront Activities Center, we turn west and walk along the Montlake Cut. Our return route takes us through the heart of the UW campus. The route is generally flat with some stairs. The paths are a mix of dirt and paved surfaces and there could be mud in a few sections.
