Are you looking to raise a healthy eater? Nutritionist Marissa Beck offers guidance and tips for your family’s back-to-school eating routines.
We’ll explore ways to:
- set a good example for your kids
- create a healthy home environment that encourages nutritious choices
- make killer meals, awesome lunchboxes, and mouth-watering afterschool snacks
- help kids become competent, intuitive eaters in a world that favors diet culture
This class is geared toward parents and caregivers of kids from toddlers to teens. We will cover a variety of topics, including the importance of a balanced diet, reading food labels, making meals and snacks, tips for eating more produce, and more!

About the Guest
Marissa Beck, MS, RDN is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) with 13+ years of experience and a passion for helping parents raise healthy intuitive eaters. She is the founder of REVV Health, a virtual practice serving individuals, families, and organizations who want to create and maintain a healthy relationship with food, while preventing and treating disordered eating patterns and concomitant medical conditions. Her previous experience in corporate wellness includes creating incentive programs that have helped employers reduce their healthcare premiums, developing employee engagement content, and counseling thousands of people with diverse medical conditions. Marissa is the current chair-elect of the Washington State Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (WSAND), and most recently, the Nutrition Program Manager at Nintendo through wellness vendor, CareATC. She received her Master of Science from Columbia University in New York, NY, and her Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University in Boston, MA. In her spare time, she loves to ski, hike, and golf with her two girls and husband.
