High Holiday Food Drive + Food Sort

The SJCC Mitzvah Corps is partnering with Jewish Family Service to provide canned, shelf-stable goods to the families JFS serves this High Holiday season. Drop off donations to the J from September 8 – October 3.

Join JFS for their Food Sort October 5th!

Be part of one of Jewish Family Service’s biggest volunteer events of the year! Join over 200 community members to sort more than 1,200 bags of donated food for the Polack Food Bank, which serves 2,000+ individuals in the Puget Sound region.

With donations down 75% and food costs soaring, your help is more critical than ever. By volunteering at the Food Sort, you’re helping meet urgent needs in our community.

NEW THIS YEAR! Families with children ages 3+ are invited to participate in a special kid zone, featuring sorting activities, crafts, and story time with Rabbi Ronit Tsadok, Director of Project Kavod.
