Tuition Assistance

The Stroum Jewish Community Center is committed to ensuring that our programs and services are accessible and welcoming to all. We believe that all families wishing to provide their children with an early learning experience based on Jewish values should have the opportunity. Need-based tuition assistance for the SJCC Early Childhood School is available through our confidential application process.

The form will guide you through the calculation of household income and requires the provision of information on household expenses, assets, and liabilities. Please attach your 2018 income tax return when you submit your application.


For priority consideration, families must provide the application and required documentation no later than April 1, 2019. Families will be notified of the results of their application in early May. Applications received by the SJCC after April 1 will be evaluated on a monthly basis based on the availability of funds. Applicant families will be notified by the middle of the month following the month they submit their applications.

Applicants will be notified, in writing, of tuition assistance. This notification will be your confirmation of tuition assistance for the school year and payment arrangements must be made at that time. Tuition assistance is not automatically renewed. Families need to apply each program year. If a family’s financial situation changes mid-year we request a new application be completed.
