“Soul in Love,” a talk about love through a Jewish lens by Mussar Institute founder and author of “Everyday Holiness”
Exploring SJCC’s 50th anniversary theme, “All Love, No Lonely” Dr. Alan’ Morinis, founder and director of the Mussar Institute and author of “Everyday Holiness” talks about how the word “love” (ahava in Hebrew) is fundamental to Judaism and community as the “knitting together of souls.” Counter to the current culture of hate perpetually distracting people, Morinis asks what do we need to do to focus on love and embracing each other. Bagels + coffee served.
