The Stroum Jewish Community Center is pleased to offer scholarships to pay for the following program fees: Early Childhood School tuition, Kidstown, Summer Camp, and membership.


Eligibility to apply for scholarship is based on family income level as shown below:

1 person
(for example, single adult applying for membership assistance)
2 people
(for example, single adult and child applying for ECS)
3 people
(for example, two parents and one child)
4 people $72,240
5 people $78,000
6 people $83,760
7 people $89,600
8 people $95,360


The form will guide you through the calculation of household income and requires the provision of information on household expenses, assets, and liabilities. Please attach your 2015 income tax return when you submit your application.

For Families Applying for ECS Scholarships

Families submitting application for Early Childhood School scholarships on or before April 30 will be notified about the results of their application in mid-May. Applications received by the SJCC after April 30 will be evaluated on a monthly basis based on the availability of funds. Applicant families will be notified by the middle of the month following the month they submit their applications.
