Come spend the summer at the SJCC Sports Camp, two-time winner of ParentMap magazine’s award for Best Sports Camp in the Puget Sound.
This action-packed camp is for athletes of all kinds. Through daily scrimmages and drills that emphasize sportsmanship and teamwork, kids fine-tune their sports skills and learn new games, techniques, and sports, so there’s something for every skill level. Each afternoon, they play an all-Sports Camp game, which brings all ages together to play traditional camp games like capture the flag and kickball.
We also integrate one of our summer camp values, derech eretz (respecting others), into our Sports Camp, with a focus on the spirit of sportsmanship and respect. We also look at sports through the lens of Jewish values and the true meaning of sportsmanship. We want all our campers to leave with the skills and confidence to compete in a variety of sports during the school year. How kids go about competing and winning are equally important.

When you click the “Register Now” link below, follow these steps to register:
1. Find the correct age group for your child and click Availability
2. Choose your week and Add to Cart
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to register for additional weeks of the same camp.
To register for additional camps, either navigate to that page on the sidebar menu and follow the steps above, or do the following:
1. Click the Back button
2. Under Programs at a Glance, click By Category
3. Select Camp and click Next
4. Find the camp you’re looking for and click Availability
5. Choose your week and Add to Cart
6. Repeat steps 1-5 to register for additional camps
Typical Sports Camp Daily Schedule
A typical day at SJCC Sports Camp includes recreational swimming, sports skills, training exercises, fun and games, weekly field trips, friendly competition, ruach (spirit) challenges, and quiet activities that give campers a chance to relax with friends. We arrange the schedule so the daily routine is appropriate to the needs of each age group.
9:30 a.m. Check in
9:45 a.m. Morning activity: all-inclusive games such as Fire in the Forest or Jurassic Park
10 a.m. Warm up/stretching
10:15 a.m. Travel to outdoor fields
10:45 a.m. Skill development – one of three weekly sports (football, baseball, soccer), learned with kids of the same age and ability
12:30 p.m. Group games/contests – all-camp games such as Capture the
Flag, dodgeball, or townball
1:15 p.m. Scrimmages
2:15 p.m. Return to the J
2:45 p.m. Swim
3:45 p.m. Snack time and announcements
4 p.m. Closing circle
Sports Camp participants will travel to off-campus locations during each session. Field trips might include batting cages, the Henry Moses Aquatic Center, local parks and beaches, a Mariners game, roller-skating, a Seattle Sounders soccer clinic, a bike trip, Family Fun Center, Pump It Up, or miniature golf.
We take the utmost care at SJCC Sports Camp to place your child with children of similar ages and abilities. Children are grouped according to school grade in the coming fall; each team has its own special activities. A senior counselor and junior counselor will supervise each group of 10-12 children. You may request we group your child with friends of the same age; we will try to accommodate your request but we do not guarantee placement.
