What’s J Explorers?

J Explorers is a group of dads and their kindergarten through 3rd grade kids who play games, learn new skills, and enjoy the great outdoors together. It’s a program designed to further develop the father/son/daughter relationship, strengthen Judaic values, and build a connection with the J.

SJCC provides the game plan and dads and kids provide the creative play. The staff liaison provides a number of functions to support J Explorers, including providing suggestions and program ideas, guidance and assistance at meetings, keeping participants informed with regard to upcoming SJCC and J Explorer events, and more. Annual events include a spring campout and Sukkot at the J, in addition to several fun get-togethers throughout the year.

If you are interested in joining a group, please contact SJCC Director, Programs and Services Zach Duitch or call 206-388-1990.
